Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum information needed to run a mastery-based learning platform. This falls into three broad categories:

• Account information. Name, email address, role (student or teacher), grade level or subject area, and authentication identifiers provided when you sign up or sign in.
• Learning progress and analytics. Skill tree progress, mastery scores, quiz and boss-battle results, streaks, Sparks (in-app currency), AI tutor conversation history, and time-on-task metrics. Teachers see aggregated and individual progress data for students enrolled in their classrooms.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and limited analytics cookies to understand how the product is used so we can improve it. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We use the information above to:

• Provide, maintain, and personalize the learning experience, including adapting the AI tutor and skill tree pacing to your demonstrated mastery.
• Give teachers visibility into their students' progress within classrooms they manage.
• Operate gamification features such as streaks, ranks, and Sparks.
• Send account, billing, and product-related communications.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the platform, including detecting fraud and abuse.
• Improve our product through aggregated, de-identified usage analysis.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use student learning data to serve advertising.

We rely on a small number of trusted processors to operate the service, each bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations:

• Clerk — authentication and account/session management.
• Payment processors — subscription billing for Pro and Teacher plans. We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves.
• Cloud infrastructure providers — hosting, storage, and delivery of the application and its data.
• AI model providers — processing of tutoring conversations to generate Socratic-method responses.

These providers process data only as necessary to deliver the features above, and only under our instructions.

Nexsori Learning is used by students, some of whom may be under 13. Where a student is under 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in their jurisdiction), we rely on a school or a parent/guardian to authorize account creation, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

• We collect only the information reasonably necessary for the child to participate in the learning platform.
• We do not require more information than is reasonably necessary for a student to use the service.
• We do not use children's personal information for behavioral advertising.
• Parents, guardians, and school administrators may request review, correction, or deletion of a student's data by contacting us using the details below.

We retain account and learning-progress data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward to allow reactivation and to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time; some aggregated or de-identified data may be retained for product analytics.

We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege principles — to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or export the personal information we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
• Withdraw consent previously given, where processing relies on consent.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will update the "last updated" date below and, for material changes, provide additional notice such as an in-app banner or email.
